Ingredients:
1 kg spare ribs ( chop to about 1 inch each )
4 pieces of Ginger
3 spring onion ( cut to long strip )
1 tbsp cornflour
Oil for deep fry
Marinade:
1 and a half tbsp light soy sauce
2 tsp cooking wine
Seasonings:
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp light soy sauce
4 tbsp white vinegar
3 and a half tbsp sugar
1 tsp tomato ketchup
1 cup water
Marinade the ribs for 1 hour.
Mix with cornflour then deep fry until lightly golden
Pour out the oil, left 1 tbsp in the wok, fry spring onion and ginger until fragrant.
Add spare ribs and seasonings, braise until juice thicken and almost dry.
