Home Made Sausage Rolls

Ingredients:
450g sausage meat
320g ready-rolled all butter puff pastry
1 egg, beaten
1/2 small clove of garlic, minced
Methods:
Preheat oven to 200c / fan 180c
Add garlic, a bit of salt and pepper into the sausage meat, mixed well.
Unroll the pastry, cut in half length ways ( save the wrapping pepper for baking the rolls )
Divide the sausage meat mixture in two and spread along the length of each pastry.
Strip in a cylinder shape, leave a 1 cm edge.
Tightly roll the pastry around the sausage meat and brush the ends with the beaten egg to secure.
Use a sharp knife to cut each roll into 6 pieces, each about 4cm long, place on the reserve wrapping paper or baking sheet.
Brush more egg all over the pastry,
Baked for 25 -30 minutes until the pastry is puffed and crisp and the meat is cooked.
